About

A sworn translator you can trust with what matters.

Jesús J. Lasso Rey is a sworn translator accredited by the High Court of Justice of Namibia. For more than twenty years he has translated and interpreted between Spanish and English for courts, government bodies and international organisations, from a birth certificate for a visa application to simultaneous interpreting at a regional summit. Every job is handled personally, carefully and in confidence.

What “sworn” means

A sworn (certified) translation carries a formal declaration that it is a true and faithful rendering of the original. That is what lets courts, ministries, universities and embassies accept it as an official document; an ordinary translation will not do.

Why it matters legally

Official bodies need certainty that a translated document means exactly what the original says, with no softened terms and no altered names, dates or numbers. A sworn translation provides that assurance, and the accountability that comes with a certified translator's declaration. Getting it right the first time saves time, money and stress.
