Jesús J. Lasso Rey is a sworn translator accredited by the High Court of Justice of Namibia. What “sworn” means
A sworn (certified) translation carries a formal declaration that it is a true and faithful rendering of the original. That is what lets courts, ministries, universities and embassies accept it as an official document; an ordinary translation will not do.
Why it matters legally
Official bodies need certainty that a translated document means exactly what the original says, with no softened terms and no altered names, dates or numbers.
